PRIDE IN NUMBERS
Our 2023 event sold out of tickets for a second year in a row and saw over 8,500 people attend the event. Thousands of people came together throughout the day to celebrate Salford’s diverse communities.
The Pink Picnic is now Greater Manchester’s largest grassroots pride celebration and as we continue to expand over the next 2-3 years will see over 10,000 attendees from across Salford and beyond come together to celebrate LGBTQ+ culture as well as equality and inclusivity to ensure our diverse communities have representation and a voice in Salford.
Salford Pride has seen the attendance rate of our flagship event increase year on year. From attracting 1,500 attendees back in 2017 to over 5,000 in 2019 and our Pink Picnic Digital 2020 event received more than 7,000 digital views, the event has grown to now attract over 8,500 people and each year grows in popularity.
