Each year The Pink Picnic hosts community expo stalls for community groups, charities and organisations as well as market stalls for small sellers to engage with local people.

Our community expo area is full and therefore we are no longer accepting applicants for The Pink Picnic 2024.

Expo Spaces:

Expo stalls are for community groups, charities, organisations or businesses for promotion, raising awareness or engaging with local LGBTQ+ people. Our expo stalls are an excellent opportunity for local organisations to promote their services to our diverse community of Salford.

Due to health and safety Salford Pride DO NOT ALLOW expo holders to bring their own equipment, Salford Pride supply the gazebo space, 6ft x 2ft trestle table and 2 foldable chairs for each expo stall.

Expo stalls are not spaces for selling items, giving away free promotional items will be accepted, if you wish to sell items please apply for a market stall.

Market Pitches:

Businesses or non-food vendors looking to sell products MUST pay for a pitch, the rate for a pitch is determined by the size of the pitch. These are either 3mx3m or 6mx3m.

Our market spaces are a great opportunity for local small sellers to interact with a new audience of buyers. To sell products at our event requires a license, sellers are covered under Salford Pride’s market license which is incorporated into the pitch fee.

Sellers must supply their own equipment and provide a copy of their public liability insurance for Salford Pride to keep on record.

Food & Drink Vendors:

Food or Drink vendors looking to sell products MUST pay for a pitch, the rate for a pitch is determined by the size of your unit or pitch required. The Pink Picnic attracts over 8,500 attendees and our attendee rate is expected to increase by 10-15% in 2024.

Vendors must comply with Salford Pride’s regulations to trade at our event.

Vendors must supply their own equipment and provide a copy of their public liability insurance, food hygiene certificate and trading license to trade in Greater Manchester for Salford Pride to keep on record.

We ask that stall holders, sellers and vendors take any rubbish with them to help keep the site clean and litter free. Any excessive litter left in the space could result in further charges.
