DISABLED PARKING

Peel Park has limited site parking, however there are 3 clearly marked disabled parking bays located down a vehicle ramp to the right of the tall building as you turn in off the road. Once these bays are full, visitors will be able to drop-off disabled guests down the ramp at the entrance to the park. After drop-off vehicles must be removed off site. Guests will be required to show a blue disabled badge to security at the entrance to the park to be authorised to pass.

Visitors with a disability can also use the car park in front of Salford Museum and Art Gallery, M5 4WU or Delaney Car Park, M5 4RB, however they are pay and display car parks and will cost you approximately £2.50 for a three hour stay.

ACCESSIBILITY

There is wheelchair access around the park.

Note that the ramped access to the park at the southern end (behind the museum) is long and steep, and may not be accessible for some wheelchair users. There is a wheelchair accessible ramp, adjacent to the University of Salford student residences in the north-west of the park.

Paths across and around the park are level and well surfaced and most areas in the park are accessible by wheelchair.  This includes both footbridges across the river as well as the riverside path.
